Our new addtions!

Can you believe it, two posts in one month! Kendal is growing up so fast. I looked at her the other day and realized she is not a baby anymore. I got teary thinking about it. She has been learning loads of works such as toothpaste, mailman, man, grandpa and has been imitating things we do. Which is not always a good thing. She keeps us on our toes with some of the things we say and do. She is also showing preferences for things. This morning she insisted on wearing her bike helmet while she played this a.m. It was very comical. Below are some pictures of Kendal and our new little chickens. Kendal is trying to say grandpa in the first video. So listen carefully.

Kendal watching the new fizzle chicks. Called that because their feathers curl upwards. They look like they have been electrocuted. They are about 2 1/2 months old. She loves helping with feeding and watering. She also loves to eat their food. I found her helping herself to the bowl when I was away at the other end of the garden. She was a bit upset when I took tthe food away. Must be nice. I might have to have a go!

Kendal wearing her T-shirt that Grandpa Foster gave her for Christmas. She loves it. Thanks Grandpa!

And a short video of the electrocuted chicks. There is a male and a female.

April Activites So Far

April has been a weird month so far regarding weather. At the beginning we had two warm days with sunshine. They gave us a glimmer of hope for the summer. Then this week it snowed! Imagine that. And ever since it has been very cold. But we have had some sunshine here and there and we bundle up and go out anyways. Signs of spring are all around. Bits of green and the birds chattering is a great reminder of what is yet to come. The clocks went forward one hour for us and now we are 8 hours ahead of the States. It means longer days for us which we like. We tend to spend the evenings in the garden. Here are a few snap shots of us to let you know what we are up to. Well Kendal at least!

Kendal on her new tractor that the neighbors handed down to us. Thanks Julie and Julian.

Kendal with her first chocolate frosting beater. She loved it. Don't worry we won't form a habit!

Kendal in the Garden with Lucas each having a coffee and a biscuit. So cute couldn't resist.

Video of Kendal on another lovely donated toy for Kendal to enjoy. She sure does love this one. Plays with it at least everyday if the weather permits.

Easter Pictures

Well easter was so early I am behind in getting a couple of picture so Kendal in her Easter dress and her and I reading books after church. That is her favorite thing at the moment.
