Just a quick update to let you see our beautiful daughter who is growing so fast. She is now talking (making noises) and has found her hands. She has taken to sucking her fingers and refuses a pacifier. Here are a few pictures of her. One of when we were in the hospital. She was such a trooper. Always smiling. (Except when they were taking her blood!)
Our first trip to London. Isn't she so cute! She hates hats.

Baby Bump !
Since we received a few comments regarding the bump and how big it is, we though we would post a few pictures. She (or he) is doing well and we have only 5 weeks to go. Hopefully the little critter won't like it so much in her tummy and come out late. We are so excited to me our little one.

Summer time in England
In June we celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. We ventured down to Cornwall England and stayed in a 15th century cottage on the coast. It was a nice and relaxing time before the little one comes. Speaking of little one, we have nine weeks left until we are going to meet baby dusek. We are so excited. Due date is Sept. 12th. We started taking birth classes at the hospital. I hope they help to ease the unknown with delivery and labor! We are now in the home stretch

We visited AZ in May for a quick 2 week trip. We had a great time celebrating the baby to be with our family and friends. Thank you all for your generosity for those that attended. We were overwhelmed by it. We came home with all of our gifts and more. (9 suitcases) See below for family and friends and the diaper cake that was amazing.

It has been a great summer so far. We have been working on the Garden and harvesting some carrots, raspberries, and strawberries. We are waiting for the potatoes, broadbeans and tomatoes to come around. It has been raining enough that we don't have to water the garden. Which is totally different to Arizona. Hope everyone is well and stay tuned for the posting of baby dusek when he/she arrives in September!

It's Spring Time
It is finally spring here after a long cold winter. We imported these bulbs from Amsterdam when we visited and planted them in November. Wow what a sight. We like to come out and just look at them everyday. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such beauty. It helps to continually remind us of our creator and what an awesome God he is. Enjoy

Visit by Mom & Dad Dusek
Over the last couple of weeks, we had the pleasure of Bryan's parents in England for a visit. Besides seeing a few local sites, we took a car ferry to Normandy France to visit the WWII beaches and sites. The American cemetery was very moving and we highly recommend it if you are ever in Northern France. We also took a trip further south to see Le Mont Saint Michel. After France we had the pleasure of showing them a few sites of London. It was wonderful to see them again after more than a year. Here are a few pics from our trip...

Baby Dusek at 20 Weeks
We had our last scan a week ago. From all angles, our precious little one is as complete as can be seen - Praise God! We were a little disappointed in the scan pictures but here they are nonetheless...

Mini Break in Barcelona
Wow time flys! We ment to post this over a month ago. We had the pleasure of spending a long weekend in March in Barcelona, Spain to escape the cold English weather. It was still quite cool in Spain but we enjoyed the different architecture by Antoni Gaudi. Thought we would share a few pictures...

First Views of Baby Dusek
Wow! what a little miracle. We are so overwhelmed by the blessing that God has bestowed upon us. It is a bit more tangible now that we have pictures. The scan went great and our little one was very well behaved. (Must take after Bryan) We hope you enjoy the pictures. We do enjoy sharing them with you.

Plugging Along
It has been a few weeks since we last posted here. We are now 12 weeks along and are doing great. The Lord blessed us with no morning sickness, just fatigue. Which we found we could live with. Bryan has been great. He stepped up to take over some of the areas of cooking and cleaning while I was stuck on the couch not able to contribute. But the energy is returning and Bryan is pretty much off the hook for now!
The pictures below are of Stourhead in the winter. We visited last Sat. for a day out. We were lucky the sun was out for us and it turned out to be a beautiful day. Stuourhead is so picturesque that even the novice photographer looks like a professional. (Me) Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Keep your eye out for baby scan pictures coming in a few weeks.
